Top 10 highest paid actors in the world 2020

 Forbes has released the list of the top 10 highest-grossing actors of the year 2020. According to this list, Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock retained the number one position this year too as he did the year before. Akshay Kumar is the only Indian superstar whose name has been included in the top-10 list of world's highest-grossing stars. He is sixth in this list with earnings of $ 48.5 million. Here are the details:

Dwayne Johnson - $87.5 Million

Johnson, better known as The Rock, tops the list of the highest-paid actors in the world for the second year in a row. He was reportedly paid $23.5 million for the upcoming Netflix movie Red Notice.

Ryan Reynolds - $71. 5 Million

Reynolds has reportedly earned over $20 million from both the Netflix movie Six Underground and the upcoming movie Red Notice.

Mark Wahlberg - $58 Million

Wahlberg starred in the Netflix action-drama Spenser Confidential in 2020. He is also said to have made millions producing the two documentary series McMillions and Wahl Street.

Ben Affleck - $55 Million

The American actor returned to the big screen in 2020 when he starred in The Way Back. He also appeared on the small screen in The Last Thing He Wanted on Netflix.

Vin Diesel - $54 Million

Diesel, best known for playing Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious movies, is set to appear in the latest installment of the F9 franchise next year. 

Akshay Kumar - $48.5 Million 

Akshay Kumar is one of the highest-paid actors in Bollywood & the only Bollywood star on the list and is currently working on The End for Amazon Prime. 

Lin-Manuel Miranda - $45.5 Million

Miranda created and stars in the Broadway hit Hamilton, to which Disney acquired the worldwide rights to the film for $75 million this year. 

Will Smith - $44.5 Million

Smith is one of Hollywood's biggest names and is set to star in King Richard, a film about the father of tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams, in 2021.

Adam Sandler - $41 Million

Sandler signed a deal with Netflix to make four more movies for the streaming platform. He is one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood.

Jackie Chan - $40 Million

The martial arts star has reportedly been involved in the making of five films in the past year. Jackie Chan is seen here at the British Academy Britannia Awards in 2019. Jackie Chan is one of the highest-paid actors in the world.
